House with Pavilion
The basic program of the summer house is enriched with an outdoor room – Pavilion adjacent to the house. This place is a form of gradual transition between the interior of the building and the garden. It serves primarily as a shelter from the cold of spring and the heat of summer days, offering direct contact with the surrounding nature.
House with Pavilion
With the Pavilion, the living area can function in two ways. The poles here are defined by two fireplaces, around which the living space is organized: the exterior – in the pavilion, the interior – in the building. In summer, the pavilion becomes an integral part of the house and, in combination with the kitchen, dining room and mezzanine, enriches the living area. In winter, the building functions along a perpendicular axis, focused at the interior fireplace with a view into the plot.
House with Pavilion
The house was made with single-layer spruce log wall technology. The walls of the pavilion are a combination of steel structure and spruce squared timber cladding, giving it a transparent form. This element also serves as a canopy, shutter, balustrade, as well as the facade cladding of the house, providing a coherent character to the entire composition.
